Join the Foundation as our Fundraising Manager
Do you love the Peak District? Do you believe everyone should have the chance to connect with nature and experience the beauty of the National Park’s incredible landscapes? Then come and join the team as our new Fundraising Manager.
Working hours: Full time (but open to candidates wanting to work 4 days / 30 hours per week)
Salary: £40,000 for full time (£32,000 for 4 days per week)
Location: Hybrid, with an expectation of spending at least two days per week working in the Peak District (our HQ in Bakewell or elsewhere on location)
Deadline: Apply by 12 noon on Tuesday 22nd September 2026.
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, values-driven charity at a genuinely exciting moment in its development. The Peak District National Park Foundation has grown substantially over recent years — raising over £1 million in 2025/26 — and you have an opportunity to build on this as we move into the next chapter of the organisation.
This role is broad and varied. You will look after a mixed portfolio of supporters and prospects and take the lead on building a pipeline of potential supporters, creating high impact proposals and pitches, and building long-term meaningful relationships with grant makers, businesses and individual donors. Just as importantly, you will grow a genuine community of supporters who feel personally connected to the Park – through appeals and other ways for people to get involved – and you will have the opportunity to explore and develop new fundraising streams to support the Foundation’s long-term sustainability.
We are looking for a talented individual with excellent relationship building skills and a passion for the Park to enhance and maximise the fundraising potential at the Foundation. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated, proactive and imaginative fundraiser to make real impact and drive growth.
We’re a small, supportive team who value collaboration, curiosity, kindness and getting stuck in. We love the Peak District and we work with partners, communities and experts to deliver meaningful, lasting impact.
