About Us

Who we are

The Peak District National Park Foundation is the official charity for the Peak District.

We connect people who love and care for the Peak District with the most important and high-impact projects. This includes:

  • Helping nature to thrive by protecting and restoring key habitats like woodland and peatland and fighting climate change
  • Empowering people to restore their health and wellbeing in the Peak District by removing barriers to access
  • Protecting heritage by restoring and preserving the Peak District’s amazing history

Our goal is to create a National Park which is thriving for nature and people, and is protected for future generations.
