Co-op Members Raise Funds for #70kfor70 Project
The Peak District National Park Foundation has received its first payment from Co-op Community Fund for the Peak District Health Walks. £294 towards our target of £4,000 to save this important project that is so valued by the people who take part every month.
Thank you to everyone who has chosen Peak District Health Walks as their Community Cause via their Co-op membership. If you haven’t already done it, we need your help to get even more money from the Co-op Community Fund to help local people with long term ill-health to access the Peak District National Park.
The Co-op Community Fund channels 1% of Co-op members’ spend to chosen local charities. It doesn’t cost Co-op members anything and is a great way for us to raise money to help pay for guided walks in the Peak District for people with long term ill health such as dementia.
Here’s what you can do:
1. join as a Co-op member – the more people who join, the more money the project will get – https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/40021
2. chose Peak District Health Walks – members need to select our project as their chosen cause so that we get as much of the funding share as possible – search for our cause by using our unique code 40021
3. tell your friends – share this post far and wide so that as many people as possible can help with fantastic project
You don’t need to be local to Baslow or the Peak District to choose Peak District Health Walks as your cause and it doesn’t matter which Co-op you visit, your 1% will always go to your chosen cause.
With your help we can keep the Peak District Health Walks going for another year, thank you.
