Pedalling The Parks

In April 2019 Lorna Fisher took on an epic fundraising challenge. She cycled 1,600 miles on her own across the UK, visiting all 15 National Parks. In 16 days she cycled the equivalent of Lands End to John O’Groats twice. Lorna raised over £2,000 for the foundation and became our first Fundraising Hero.

During the journey, she also highlighted 2019 as the Year of Green Action – urging people to say #iwill to new challenges that contribute to sustainable lifestyles.
