Fundraise For Us

We’re looking for inspiring people to take on exciting challenges or organise community events

Whether you choose to walk, run, climb or host a bake sale, you will be helping nature to thrive in the Peak District National Park.

Every pound raised means more land managed for nature, more habitats protected and more homes for wildlife. Fundraising for us is a fun and rewarding way to get involved and make a difference.

We’re always happy to hear from our fundraisers and are here to support you every step of the way. If you have any questions please get in touch at: hello@peakdistrictfoundation.org.uk

Getting Started

  1. Choose your challenge
Get creative and pick a challenge or event. It can be anything from a sponsored swim or hike to an open garden event or coffee morning.
  2. Set up your fundraising page.
Online sponsorship is quick and easy. We recommend using Just Giving. Simply follow this link to set up your personalised fundraising page.
  3. Spread the word
Share updates about your challenge or event via email and social media – remember to include a link to your online fundraising page if you have one. For local events put up posters and post on community noticeboards. Don’t forget to tell everyone why you’re fundraising for the Peak District Foundation and how their donation will help support a thriving National Park.
  4. Stay safe and legal
If you’re planning an outdoor activity remember to follow the Countryside Code to protect, respect, and enjoy the countryside. When organising a fundraising event you are responsible for making sure it is safe for yourself and others, so don’t forget to carry out a risk assessment. If you are thinking of organising a larger scale event then please see the events guidance provided by the Peak District National Park Authority.
  5. Send your donations
If you have been fundraising through an online fundraising page like Just Giving simply follow the steps they give to send your donations to us. If you’ve been collecting donations in another way you can pay them in via our donate page. Don’t forget to let us know in the notes section how you raised the money so we can get in touch and thank you.
  6. Thank your supporters
Share your success with your supporters and let them know the part they have played in protecting the Peak District for future generations.
