David has lived on the western edge of the Peak District his entire life, regularly visiting from an early age. Most free weekends you will find him, his partner and their boxer dog walking around the Peak District; usually the Goyt Valley.

David’s international career has been commercially focused, as a C-Suite leader in both sales and procurement. Throughout, David has been a supporter of corporate charity partnerships, helping to raise millions for various charities over the years. Now his broad consulting experience in commercial management, marketing, and user-experience design enables him to build sustainable partnerships and innovative propositions.

Passionate about sustainable land management, countryside protection and development along with community impact, David is committed to using his commercial expertise to help the Foundation secure the resources and strategic partnerships needed to deliver lasting environmental and social benefits across the Peak District as a whole.
