The Peak District is Danielle’s home. She lives and works within the national park, serves as a local parish councillor, and has spent years witnessing how this extraordinary landscape connects communities, nurtures wellbeing, and creates a shared sense of pride and belonging. For Danielle, being a Trustee is a deeply personal commitment to a place she loves, not just a professional ambition.
With over 25 years of experience across marketing, brand strategy, and income generation, Danielle has built a career that bridges the commercial and conservation worlds. She began in marketing agencies leading national campaigns for major household brands, before turning her energy towards helping start-ups find their voice and build their presence from the ground up.
For the past six years she has worked at Derbyshire Wildlife Trust currently serving as Director of Income, Influence & Engagement, where her passion for nature has found its fullest expression. Here she has led significant fundraising campaigns, proving that when people are genuinely inspired by a cause, they take action.
She has joined the Foundation’s Board to bring her fundraising expertise, marketing insight, and commercial thinking to bear on one of the UK’s most iconic landscapes, helping it thrive, grow, and inspire for generations to come.
