Ambassador Schools
Help us inspire the next generation of nature lovers
We are working in partnership with the Peak District National Park Authority to support the Ambassador Schools programme. The scheme gives teachers and pupils the resources, confidence and support needed to access the countryside and nature as part of their primary school education.
Specifically we want to provide each Ambassador School with an outdoor experience kit box full of bug boxes, intensification charts, magnifying glasses and much more to inspire the children to develop a love of nature.
This is important because we know that children and young people are spending less time outside connecting with nature.
We know that engaging with nature helps to stimulate a child’s creativity, curiosity, motivation, self-confidence, as well as the long-term benefits of increase outdoor exercise to mental and physical health.
Can you help us to inspire the next generation of nature lovers to love and care for the National Park?
Each outdoor experience kit box costs just £200.
